The Montgomery County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of homeless, neglected, abandoned and abused animals.

The animal shelter does not receive any funds from the local or state government. The animal shelter depends completely on your donations  to care for animals and to find them loving homes.

All the dog food used by the animal shelter is donated from area businesses.  There are 10 times more cats than dogs, therefore, it's cat food that is of great need.   

PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY KIND OF DOG BISQUIT TYPE TREATS, AS THEY  GIVE OUR DOGS LOOSE STOOLS. IF YOU WANT TO BRING TREATS HERE ARE SOME SUGGESTIONS INSTEAD :

BILJAC BRAND LIVER TREATS

HOTDOGS(WE CUT THEM UP SMALL AND MICROWAVE THEM TILL CRISP)

CHICKEN OR BEEF JERKY TYPE TREATS
