	My name is MELROSE. I arrived at he shelter on 3-7-07. At just two years old I am very sweet and loving, however I am very independent and like to do things in my own time. I really enjoy one on one attention with my special someone and I'll even purr for you. I'm affectionate, healthy and litter box trained. In the meantime, my job here at the shelter is to greet everyone as they come in the office and I'm pretty good at it. I am here waiting to join my new family - I sure hope it's yours! 	Hello everyone - I'm ZIMBA. I am a four year old orange tiger cat who was surrendered by my owner who could no longer care for me on May 6, 2007. I am healthy,loving and will make an excellent couch companion. I get along with other cats and like to play. I need a very special person with lots of love and compassion to adopt me. I have one thing you need to know - I have a sensitive stomach and have to be fed Eukanuba Dry Cat food only. Anything else makes me very sick - and believe me here at the shelter they have tried everything! I go in spurts and have days when I can't keep my food down but then I will be fine for a few weeks. I have been to the vet several times and they can not find anything wrong physically. The staff has become very attached to me so they need to be sure that you will take extra special care of me. Please just give me a chance - If you adopt me you will be a very lucky person!!!

	My name is KIVA and I arrived here at the shelter on 12-26-07. I am a 7 yr. old long haired 'old fashioned' Himalayan male cat. I am neutered and vaccinated. I did have a severe dental problem and they had to pull most of my teeth so now I can only eat soft food that's not chunky. I have an excessive dental bill now getting all that work done, so we are grateful to anyone who wants to donate to help pay off my bill. Just note it's for KIVA'S VET BILL. And now that I'm on my way to good health I'm looking for a loving family to take care of me. I do look a little funny though, as I was so matted they had to shave all my hair off.
