Houston is 5 1/2 months old. He was brought in as a feral baby that needed to be bottle fed. With patience and love, one of our staff took him home to teach him manners and how to be loved. Houston is wonderful kitten, who needs someone to continue to teach him to trust humans.

Fishee is a 1 year old stray that is looking for a lap for the holidays. She is very sweet and gets along with all the other cats here at the shelter. Fishee is a big purr-baby. She is a gentle and calm cat. Don't make her spend her holidays at the shelter! Open up your heart and home to her!

Cougar is a 6 month old kitten that we found on the grounds surrounding the shelter. He was a tad frightened at first, but is coming to realize humans are a great source of love, comfort and FOOD! Cougar is a striking looking little guy that is looking forward to having a home of his own.
Koda is a 1 1/2 year old terrier/rotti mix, with a sleek and shiny coat. She knows all her basic commands and listens extremely well to direction. Koda is a very playful girl and calms readily. She also loves car rides and will make a willing driving companion.
Banjo is a 8 year old tri-colored hound mix. We call him our cute funny old man! BUT, Banjo can leap and play and run circles around you. He is very young at heart and is a healthy guy.
Hooligan is an 8 month old rednose terrier, with a lot of energy to share with a human companion, who is the same. Hooligan is not only the handsomest guy in town, but he is very playful and even knows some of his basic commands. A home with a fenced yard is preferred as this young man needs to have an outlet for his spunkiness.
Hooligan was a surrender from his owners who were moving.
Cutiera is a 3 1/2 yr old girl that would do best in a home without other cats. She is so soft and lovable and seeks out human companionship. She and Alovar came from a home with many other well taken care of cats and are now looking for their forever homes.
Pearl is a sincere, sweet and affectionate, 1 yr old calico beauty. She gets along great with other cats, and loves being pet and schmoozed. Pearl would like a home with someone to love forever!
Lila is a 1 year old green eyed beauty. She is extremely lovable and a real attention getter. Lila would do well in almost any home and has a real sweet nature.

Cocomo and Nikita are stunning 5 year old ladies that are sure to make you want to take one of them home(or both?) They are large and affectionate, and love attention. All either of them really want is a permanent home with people to love them.
Junipe and Spunky are handsome 6 yr old longhaired gentlemen that came in together from a private home. They are quiet and independent and are looking to spend the rest of their lives relaxing in sunny windows. If this bonded pair can go home together, we will offer a special adoption fee.

Pokey is a 1 year old special needs kitty, with a winning personality, that needs a special person in his life. Pokey is almost completely deaf, and because of that, has some equalibrium problems.He is lovable despite his slight handicap, and whoever adopts him will have a wonderful companion, for life.
Scandal is a handsome 7 month old brown tiger that was abandoned on shelter grounds on one of the coldest nights of the year. His brother Cougar, who was with him was brought in sooner, but it took us a while to capture this cute, sweet boy. Scandal is looking for a forever home that will give him love, food and a warm place to call his own.

Need not be present to win!!!!Sweetheart is an orange DSH tiger with a "twist". She has some 'Scottish Fold' in her bloodline and it comes in the form of the appearance of having no ears! She is a sweetheart, like her name suggests and would do well in any home!
Baboo is a 2 year old DLH that is as lovable and sweet as he is handsome. As with any long haired cat, Baboo needs to be groomed frequently, which he absolutely loves! He would be great with any family!
Cannolli and Biscotti are 2 cute little sisters 4 months of age. A woman brought them to the shelter in the TRUNK of her car! They are playful and curious and have the most beautiful markings. All they need now is a loving forever home!
Barley is a manly 8 month old male that came in with his friend, Pandora. He is a very friendly guy and would be fine in any home. He is very playful and asks for lots of toys.His owners gave him up due to the onset of allergies.

Dodge is a 6 months old 'DAREDEVIL"! He was a stowaway under someones truck and took a ride(unbeknownst to the driver) from Amsterdam to Broadalbin! He is now safe at the SPCA and none the worse for the experience! That is one lucky kitty!
Pandora is Barley's buddy. She is 3 1/2 yrs old and a gentle sweet cat. Pandora would be fine in any home, so long as she has a sunny spot to call her own. Pandora also was brought in because of the ownder's allergy problems.
Petra is a 5 month old fuzzy beauty! She is very affectionate and petite. Petra's tail has to be surgically bobbed a bit, because it was injured. She is such a good patient and will be looking forward to a new home as soon as you get here to adopt her!
Ravioli is a beautiful calico girl of 11 months. She was abandoned by her owner when she moved, and left outside of the old apartment without food or water. The SPCA went to the apt and took her in. Ravioli is a very affectionate girl that deserves to find a great loving home!

Guy is a 3 yr old gray tiger with a very mellow attitude. The purrfect companion. Came in as a stray, and sweet as can be. Guy wants place to call his own and a family to love.
Marigold was an abandoned stray, who was left in a box outside of the SPCA when the weather was below freezing. She is a 2 yr old and is quite shy. Marigold would like a home without dogs and would be great for an older person that wants company but does not need a cat that wants to be held a lot. Won't someone open their heart and home for this little lady and show her people ARE good?
